I've suffered from stress related canker sores for years, and I've tried so many different things. I still think that taking vitamin B-12, stress relief, and yogurt (if you catch them early) work best, but once the sores get ugly Debacterol works. Be aware that the stuff will sting when you put it on, but the moment of pain is worth getting rid of the lingering discomfort. It's not cheap, but I'd give it a try if you regularly suffer from them.

For some reason over the past 2-3 month's I have had a horrible problem with Aphthous Ulcers (AKA Canker Sores). They have been very painful and caused me to have to stay home and not eat sometimes because of the pain. 3 applications of Debacterol over a 3 day period has cleared it up like that! Before they would linger around for 10 to 14 days. This has been a lifesaver for me. I went to my regular Dr., then to my Periodontist and then to my Dermatologist before he was the one to tell me about Debacterol and the funny thing was, I didn't even need a prescription.
